What is Putchipuu? So glad you asked!

During one of my recent buying trips to Los Angeles, I met the lovely founders of Putchipuu, Giovanni and Todd. I fell in love with the bags, and just had to share the compelling story behind them.

Every bag is handmade by the women of the Wayyu tribe in Colombia, using traditional, intricate weaving techniques. The production and sale of the bags has created a new independent and socially conscious economy with the aim of supporting women and their families. You can read their full story here.

The bags are now available in Victoria, Santa Monica and select Calgary boutiques. I hope you love them as much as I do!

One of our favourite Calgary bloggers, the gorgeous Hilary of The Canadian Quaintrelle, came to our Mission location ready to transition her nails from her summery pinks to a more neutral fall palette to go with her favourite seasonal plaids and knits.
